Sign up for this five day, instrument intensive where your child will learn the basics of ukulele! A very accessible first instrument for young children. Kids will learn basic music theory, rhythm, and primary chords to sing and play their favorite songs! Your child will learn a total of four songs, gain the ability to strum along with others, and develop confidence and excitement with music! This is a great place to start if your child has never had a music lesson for any instrument!

Is your child obsessed with Taylor Swift? Immerse them in the pop superstar’s musical catalog by having them join the “Swifties Choir!” Students will learn how to sing five Taylor Swift songs over the week. Each class will begin with a vocal training intensive, learning how to sing on pitch, scales and drills with the piano, and learning how to sing as a group. There will be the opportunity for solos, and an end of summer performance!

Have you always wanted to write your own song? Do you like poetry or humming and making up your own melodies? Then this songwriting camp is just for you! Students will learn about song structure, basic rhyming skills, how to use a thesaurus for songwriting, and how to apply your song to an instrument if you already play piano, guitar, or ukulele. Students will also learn how to become inspired by events already occurring in your regular life, and how to convert those experiences into a song! Students will have the option to perform it for other campers in a traditional songwriters round. You’ll finish the camp with a beautifully crafted original piece, and a recording to share with friends and family!

This special camp for young children ages 3 through 6 is a fun and exciting introduction to music of all kinds! Focusing on developing rhythm through group exercises, getting to use your singing voice (maybe for the first time!) and trying out new instruments! Kids will have the chance to trial different instruments like piano, guitar, ukulele, and percussion, and start to form a relationship with their favorite! Your child will leave with a newfound interest in whichever form of music sparked their imagination the most!

Is your child obsessed with all things Disney? This camp is focused on learning how to sing all of your favorite Disney classics with a group! Your child will learn fundamentals of singing like diction, phrasing, volume, breath, and pitch control, and emotion. There will be the opportunity for solos and group numbers. If your child is into musical theater or has experimented with participating in school plays, this is a great camp to help students build their confidence as well as acting skills!
